In 1884, Jean Dupuy bought Le Petit Parisien and turned it into the most successful newspaper of the early 20th century. In 2015, his great-great-grandson Jean Dupuy (also!), with his nephew Paul, decided to revive the brand by serving delicious French-style sandwiches in New York. In France, a ham-and-butter sandwich is also called a «parisien», giving all its sense to the naming of the store. As food lovers, Jean and Paul felt the New York food scene was missing traditional sandwiches and are glad to finally bring them to you.
What makes great sandwiches great is of course the quality of the ingredients inside them. We prime on only working with the best providers to serve you the same sandwiches you would eat in France. We handpick our suppliers and have them reach the highest standards to deliver exceptional food. Baguette is our key element and took us a while to figure out. The flour we use comes from France and is baked with the most traditional techniques, in order to give the right amount of crisp. We hope you’ll enjoy!
